After trying out a new site and finding nothing but trash, I went back to my favorite small area and found these.

The medallion says, S.Maria Mater Dei, Saint Maria mother of god one side and has a horse on the other.

The coin with the cross is more than likely a 1 grano from Malta. I can see the 1 and 7 from the date, can't make out the last two numbers yet.

The second coin is not clean enough to be identified.

And if anyone lost the keys to their Fiat, I may have them

Good finds!! Always good to see finds from different places.
Cleaning them is always difficult, the dirt here attaches like cement. Toothpicks just crumble. Soaking helps but not much. I'm trying water with a drop of Dawn to see if it helps. I've started gently scrapping the dirt with a dental scaler and it does help I just don't want to scratch them.

Got the Maltese coin cleaned up, definitely 1703. I soaked it in olive oil overnight and then gently scrubbed it with a scouring pad from the center outward, so I didn't chip the edges anymore. The button was found the next day along with a 1920 50 centesimi.
The other coin above is more than likely a 1 grano Vittorio Amedeo II. The only distinguishable detail is the word SICILAE along the edge.
