Well, just down the sidewalk from where I found an 1897-O dime, the grass was pretty tall....so I got permission and MOWED that grass. :tard: :tongue3: and found 2 wheat cents. First was a 1914-S Cent which I thought was a "D" but once I cleared the dirt... I clearly saw the "S", and next I found a 1909 Cent that seems to be in excellent shape. (sorry no S or V.D.B that I can see) Two dates which I had hoped to find with different mint markings...but still better than a day at work!

Thanks for looking and happy hunting.

Those are some sweet wheats, I've dug a few 1909's over the years and there always so crappy that I can't confirm they are "S" or "VDB" free. I don't think I've ever dug a 1914-S either, that's important to me because I'm trying to fill up coin albums from detecting finds. Congrats

Both of those are in great shape...Nice finds..
