Finally was able to give it a try today.

We've had about a week above freezing and so

I went to my cornfield. (so I could use a long handled shovel. ;) )

It went very well, considering it was a relic day. Had a wonderful
time!

Also got a couple of delightful surprises! Especially for this
place, coins are RARE here! :)

You judge:

BUT.....here's my "star" for the day!

Most, here, knows just how hard it is to find one of these!
Let alone, one that can still be read!

A nice start to my year!

Thanks for peeking!

What is the VDI for a Titleist?

Nice hunt Buddy! Congratulations on the sheild nickel. I always like buttons.
Careful with the golf eggs, they could hatch anytime.

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

Looks like a good hunt Whadi. I really like that flat button, and Shield Nickel.

Those fields must grow golf balls. I have collected over 50 from home sites, in one stubble field last year:laughing7:

None too shabby for a mid-winter detecting foray. Sweet sheild nickel.
Nice buttons.

Looks like someone got a little bored in the cornfield and decided to hit a few.
.....wonder if they made a hole in one, or were just driving for distance?

I'd say your off to a good start!
Congrats!
