Those buttons are really amazing; make one think they are really old but in excellent condition.
Is that a ring in the second photo?

GRB
yes its a ring with 2 cameos but there is places for 7 in total i was thinking the ring was a oy or just junk but after thinking awhile and after being in the ground wouldnt it be all rusted just a thought ill get some better pictures tonight and get them posted

hea dragon6banger :

Nice finds, place them on the table and photo them standing
up & let your camera do the work w/ the optical & digital zoom
then use you phot editing software that came w/ you camera and
as your editing your photos use the SAVE AS option to save you newer
photo's

Those buttons were used on the U.S. Air Force dress blues uniform blazer up until the mid to late 90's. They were replaced with the ones I protographed here, the star with wings. The new ones are still made by the same company. The U.S. Air Force has only been around since 1949, so they are from somewhere between 49 and 90's.

There you go...Nice Finds

The buttons are US Air Force buttons from either the Dress Uniform or the AF version of the top coat. I spent 20 years in the AF and would never forget them. Good find and hope I was able to help.

The newer ones are called the "Hap Arnold" buttons... LOL... I wore the uniform from 1983 to 2007.
