No roman coins today, but two very nice bucklesne roman (2nd century AD), the other medieval (14th century AD)

I guess you know I like most things by now. But a nice buckle always saves the day, specailly if whole like those.

I get very few roman buckles, but I have plenty of that type of Medieval.

You are lucky to have such great sites this time of year, I hate you :P

Up to now, I have found only fragmented Frankish (Saxon) artefacts. I would really like to find a 6th century brooch. Perhaps this year??

If you are getting plenty Roman stuff you must have a great chance of Saxon after all they followed the Romans into most of the places the Romans occupied.
