2 Brass Buckles Found. Horse Tack? How Old?

I have dug up these 2 buckles over the last couple days. The small one I think may be fairly modern but I thinking the big one may be fairly old. It looks like some kind of horse tack to me but maybe some one has seen one of these before. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.

I don't know for sure but they're pretty old. 1920s would be my guess.

I would agree that they are no older than 1920s

Agreed. I used to dig these types of horse tack buckles by the droves--accumulated Hundreds of 'em at the sites I used to hunt. Now that I hunt Exclusively 1800's sites, I haven't found a single one!
