Hunted an area that must have seen a lot of traffic in the 40s and 50s.Was after work from 4:30-6:30 PM,so light was failing toward the end (plus my Wife was calling me on my cell) . Found it hard to stop after 2 standing Liberty quarters,a 1946 Washington quarter,1940 Mercury dime,1951 Roosevelt dime,3 Buffalo nickels ( no dates),2 1950s Jefferson nickels and 4 wheat pennies from 1917 to1950. It's hard to stop when the keepers keep ringing in your headset! Using the XP- Deus with 11" coil. That would have been hard to stop! Congrats on a great hunt! I spent 2 hours and came up with 0$.68 in clad. Granted, I was hunting a park I'd gone over twice (but there was a recent rain, and I was looking deep for rings...). No rings. No joy. :(

Glad to start the day, seeing that SOMEONE had some luck!

Cheers,

Skippy

Congrats on finding that virgin turf. :occasion14: That's a big keeper coin score for sure. Hope all was calm when you got home.
