2 1/2 Hours today with DKinPA

a few months ago while Hunting a Ball field a Member of the Township Road crew Approached me, While retrieving a Target, And short Story, Even Shorter,
Gave me Permission to search the Township Building yard



according to the Tax Site, This Building was Built in 1920 .
here is a 1939 Ariel





back in the Dark ages I spent my 7th. Grade school Year in there.
Although I only remember about 5 days of that Nightmare,
I do remember the Ceiling in the One Room Collapsed,
and we used to get allot of days off because of sulpher (Coal gas) from the Furnace.
I won't tell you what some of the other students claimed they would do in the Furnace
to Cause Coal Gas smell Those in the coal Region should probably already Know.

Anyway, I'm off topic.

Is Heavy was gold colored originally,
But has too many loops to just hang from a Chain.

Same Height as a Half dollar's Diameter
the Width is the same as a Nickels Diameter
but Thicker then a Nickel in the center.

I thought it was A locket at first But no Definitely Not

& it's part of a Heavy Gold Plated Brass Victorian chandelier earring

I sort of agree, If it she worn as an earring It would be for as short a period as possible,
And she's have oval ear holes after

Yes That is a very Good possibility

there is only one loop broken off. bottom right in the Last pic I posted,
& actually it's not Broken, It's Crushed (bent, deformed)

Jim I realized something today, I was getting to the point I just couldn't get into Detecting anymore.
I was Just running back to my old spots, trying to find those missed targets, and within a Half hour Being sore,
Tired, Hot, asking myself Why am I here ? Take your pick or Mix & Match


Even though The finds were slim due to this all being Woods around the school till,
at least the 70"s, And obviously Dozed & worked, to remove the trees & Roots,
Yesterday , Hitting a spot I never did, & not being on my own, Brought back my Energy.

I may try another site today, that has only been a ball field for maybe 8 years ,
just because it's different eye candy

hopefully they mow the area where the Farm was,
and didn't build another Ball field there.
