Congrats on getting back out after your lengthy hiatus..I'm sure as you get your new machine dialed in, you'll be a force to contend with! Good luck, Ddf.

That's a long break, now it's time to make up for lost time. Good luck with your new machine, it seems like you're off to a good start.

Where there are wheats, silver are close by.

Helge, welcome back. No need to worry about a shortage of bottle caps, their are still plenty for all. In fact I recovered a dandy herd of them just yesterday.

Just got my Nokta Impact yesterday and tried it out in the front yard. I'm happy to see that there are still bottle caps, I was afraid that the supply was depleted. I'm also happy to say I found a very old rifle cartridge and 2 Wheaties from the 40's. There's definitely a learning curve on this machine but I like what I see.

What detector where you using 20 years ago?

chub

20 years !! Now thats what I call a metal detecting vacation ! Glad your back at it, and congrats on your Wheats.

Whites Eagle Spectrum. Still have it and it works fine. That machine has been given to my 12yr old.
