1st silver ring

Spent about 2 hours at the local totlot and found a 1941 wheat and about .53 cents in clad. I also found my first silver ring. Its stamped "925 ND". Anyone have any idea what the ND is? Its got a big purple stone and 1 small diamond? on each side. Sorry about the bad pic. Its from my cell phone.
