1st ring & it's GOLD

Have been getting out early every morning (on holidays for a couple more weeks) and finally got into some rings.
Pulled out a lot of trash, keys and sinkers to get these but worth every hole dug.
One is 9k white gold with 12 stones (doubt they are real) the other is a dress ring, gold plated copper I think.
Getting the hang of this machine and totally bitten by the bug, can't look at anyones hands anymore without wondering if there going to lose some of those rings on there fingers

Cheers guys. Will be heading back there in the morning to have another go.
Have had some strong winds today moving the beach around. looking forward to see what the sand gives up.

WTG on your first ring and wish you more in 08. You have the best detector for the job. Nothing beats an Excalibur 1000.

Thanks all it's nice to share a cool find instead of always reading about them.
Off to the coast for a couple of days now, might hit bells beach see what them surfers have dropped

WTG i,m jealous seem the city folk got more money than us poor country folk lol How you been handling the heat.I,m planning a trip to a place called Yapeen in early march as i,m back at work and i need to get go a head from Heritage Victoria. Not far from Castlemaine .natural mineral springs, was a gold rush and few chinese settlements and springs was a popular pic-nic spot between 1900 till 1940.
Was leased by private out-door leisure company.Whole area is crown land but not what classifation it comes under.If not i got a back site at clunes and some-one found a 1930 penny there in september. Went for 18,000 dollars at action.. Don,t have any detail how it was found.i wish it was me lol

Will get back to you on trip soon, still waiting to here from another TN member from Kerang way to get back to me and Angie from Moe way wants too come too.There a camping ground in the park or the Guilford hotel has bed and breakfast[cheap] and lots of cold beer
