Greetings to everyone. I’ve been in law enforcement for 26 yrs and have been metal detecting even longer. I used to take my mother’s old Fisher to the local schools and race home before dark with my pockets full of clad coins. I few accidental finds got me hooked for life. Now I enjoy searching old homesites and farms and displaying my old coppers and other old finds around the house (although “around the house” includes my closet where my wife thinks they look the best). MD’ing provides a great stress release from work that I will continue to enjoy with retirement still a few years away (having 1 kid in college and 1 in HS tends to push the retirement date further away, lol). Anyway, I look forward to posting my finds and seeing everyone else’s. Happy hunting out there and stay safe.
