My honey and I found this 1906 V-nickel last April in our back yard on top of the ground playing with our old Bounty Hunter TR550-D. Our house was built in 1915.
Since then I have invested into a DFX and Fisher F-75, and been finding some good stuff in my area.
More pics to come if this post goes good.

Trying to make the pic bigger new to this also

Welcome from the UK

Welcome to Tnet! V Nickels are always a great find. The deep ones can truly be hard to get in trashy areas. Well done.

Its already taken over for me. Rather take home a gold coin than a picture of a 20lb carp.

I used to go for trout and 30lb+salmon at any chance that I could, now digging is 98% of my free time.

Romex, welcome to Dirt Fishing ;D. Glad to see you and the misses are hooked! Great find on that " V " by the way, few and far in-between. HH

Very Cool Find there! This is by far the greatest hobby I have ever gotten involved in. The snow up where I am at limits what I can do but I am just doing some research right now.
