A New Year...a new location out in the woods. Slow going at first with a few ox shoes, shell casings and a bunch of lead. Then hit a strong signal with a 90 VDI. Out popped a large cent, and then two more! Nothing like a 18th century pocket spill.

Still doing some cleaning, but these coins all appear to be British half pennies...looks like a KG 2 and two KG 3's...not 100% sure at this point.

Not a bad way to start the new year!

Very!!! Cool!!! Congrats!!!!

Nice coins to find! I agree that they are 2 KG IIIs and one KG II. The dates are not discernible but their monarch puts them in a fairly small date range. They are definitely colonial coinage. One or more could be counterfeit. Counterfeits of these halfpennies were common and are as interesting as official coinage.

Lots of things lining up just right for us Mass hunters to even have an opportunity to be swinging the coil in early January- Congrats for some awesome finds!

Very nice way of starting off a January hunt, a rarity.
Congrats on the coppers.

Congratulations on some super finds! Thanks for sharing.
