First real hunt with the F70 today. Must say I was getting a littie worried at my own skills as I was frustrated at the amount of chatter I was getting while searching my own yard, trying to get a handle on this new machine and what it is telling me. This is much different (obviously) than my F2...
Anyway, after reading the manual again, I tried a MUCH faster sweep speed - and - voila - MUCH less chatter.
Netted a buck or so in clad, but also nabbed at '53 wheatie at about 7" - rang it at at strong 66-67, no variation in the TID, with the confidence bars all displayed. This was using de/sens 78/thresh -2/disc 25.
