1st Hunt of the Year - Seated Dime

Off to a good start for 2022! Cold and windy here today was supposed to go fly fishing but we cancelled due to the strong winds. Went back to my honey hole in the woods to see if I've missed anything with the 6" coil, so I had the stock coil on, wasn't expecting much. Was going to hit the other side of the area where I really haven't been to, crossing a small open area had the nox in park 2, dug 2 torn up cans, then got a solid 25 signal in two directions. Strange I know I've been over this spot multiple times. Expecting a wheat penny or something, i spied a small silver rim after a few scoops. I was guessing a barber dime, but nope, when the dirt fell off it was seated. This is only my 2nd seated ever.
Also picked up a nice key on an iffy signal about 30 feet away. Everything else I got today was trash, but it was just a short 1.5 hours in the woods
Like the pros on here say, never hunted out.
And yes its about time for new gloves :-P

Heck of a way to start the year off. I finished the year with a 1876 seated dime myself and could've been happier!!!! Congratz
