Was hoping to break my uninpressive oldest coin record of 1885. Did it 4 times in 2 hours. A 1765 hessen 5 kreuzer.
An 1825 Konig reich pfennig and a 1851 hessen 3 kreuzer. Also found a 1875 reich pfennig. Thanks for looking.

Nice finds. While the wife and I were in Germany this past summer on a Viking River cruise, we were being taken from Germany to Satzburg, Austria by bus and saw someone in a field with a metal detector. Would have loved to stop and see what he was finding.

I'm guessing you do grass & not ploughed fields?

You will break your new record soon. Do your homework and you will be impressed what can be under your coil.

found these in a plowed field

OK, then just got to find the right ploughed fields. Germany has got a rich history, just like us. GOOD LUCK.

If this is a bad day I'll take it. I'll keep looking . Thanks

No-one has a bad day detecting & if you beat a previous record or you get a first then its a great day. But, I know from experience, you will look back on this & think it was average. That's just how it will go for you in your bright future.

Hey!
Welcome to the forum!
Looks like a good hunt to me.. Silver is always welcome.. Funny this summer I went back home to Germany (I study abroad) and in the two months I found (among other finds) also one 3 Kreuzer like yours (but 1843) and the exact same 1 Pfennig...
Just keep walking... more will turn up over time!
