Well we changed our name from NewB Hunters to Hole Diggers (yes we cover). This is what we found on our 1st find at Hugenot Memorial Park. We found most on the canal side. Nice place to camp if you are prepared to battle the sand fleas/gnats! Even other campers and their pets were suffering, we look like we have chicken pox and the "new Fruity Scented" bug spray does Not work.We think it attracted them more.
Finds:
3 Quarters
2 Dimes
2 Nickles
1 Penny
1 Brass fitting

$249.00 left and MD will be payed for lol

This beach was not as trashy as Jax Beach

~Happy Hunting to all~

Glad you got out digging and you even found something that LOOKS like a ring!!! My first ring like objects got me very excited!!! congrats

FYI- advice from a 5th generation Floridian- Skin so Soft bath oil is the best thing for the little gnats, just rub some on, smells good too. You can get it from you local Avon lady. It is about the best thing I have every used for them, including all the over the counter stuff.

Good Luck,

Ghost rider is correct, you can't beat SOS (Skin so Soft) for repelling gnats and mosquitoes.

and the light comes on! thanks all...and I have a bottle of it under my sink of all places. I used to use this in NY but have not really been too exposed to the biters down here. * note to self take skin so soft!

Good Job HDers,

Glad you guys had fun. I know that we will get together and hunt together. Maybe you would like to come down and hunt Matanzas area some day.

Jack
