Good find on the ring!!

A ball field was where I found my first gold ring. It's an Art Carve 14kt and was about 15ft. behind first base. Looking at where it was, I'm guess it came off the lady's finger as she pull off her baseball glove.

A had to laugh a bit when you said where you are looking. To others, a baseball field isn't all that large, but when swinging a detector and going across it, in basicly 4' widths, I find it's a pretty big place!!! Don't give up, it's still out there.

Bill ;>)

Thanks, Bill! I won't give up yet! It's a family heirloom of an elderly lady who was at the field to watch her granddaughter play. I would really like to get it back for her.

AS far as the law school ring, I think that from the internet I may have found the guy, and he has taken the bar 3 times and not passed it. :'( Maybe he doesn't want his law school ring back! I will try to call him tomorrow!

Well at least you were rewarded for your efforts even though you didn't find the ring. A lot of times the rings are not where people think they lost them. And yes, a baseball field can be a very large place to check.

Nice looking!!

;D The ring is back with its rightful owner!! He was very happy to get it back and totally surprised that it was ever found. He had realized that it was lost at that ball field about 8 or 9 years ago but could not locate it. He was coaching his daughter's softball team at the time and thought that maybe some of the girls on her team that did not like him stole it out of his shoe where he kept it during practice! (Not a good idea) Anyway- he was tickled because his parents had bought it for him and he never told them that it was lost. It was a great feeling seeing him happy!!!!

May it not be your last Mud......Good thing's are coming!!!! Excellent Job!!!!

Good find and return. I am glad he didn't try to sue you.
