I'm picking up where I left off in yesterdays "Todays Finds"...

Well I finished off the church yard (mostly), I ended up with 3 wheaties there, 1916,1926,1945 and one 1944 Washington quarter. The 1916 wheatie got me going becasue I didn't think I'd find anything that old there, no other silver was found.

In this pic is Sunday's junk showing 2 silver quarters from Saturday and the book mark from the church yard. The 6" deep quarter signal I got near the apple orchard ended up being a 6" copper pipe. >:(

The beach with the bath houses torn out yielded a bunch of clad and a 1953 wheatie, surprised me there too!

Finally, my Barber Quarter! A bit rough but a clear date of 1908-0. This one came from a old village brick home, I'm guessing 1860-ish, don't really know. Someone cleaned house before me though, HA HA, YOU MISSED ONE! ;D
I also got a wheatie (I think), I'm soaking it to be sure.

invest in a product called mothers mag and aluminum polish...

you can find it at wal-mart or any advaced auto's or any other car stores.
this product will clean anything you find back to it normal or better look.

good luck with it.

nice find... HH lance

Looks like one really great place. Excellents finds. No Barber here yet, so many thumbs up on that one.

Congratulations,

Don't polish the quarter with anything. Polishing will lower the value. There is no 100% way to get the oxide off!

Just enjoy it like it is.
