1999 Philippine "Piso" in Central Florida
Did a little detecting at the in-laws lake house over Labor Day weekend. Off the end of the public dock in about 4 foot of water I managed to pull up $2 in change and this Philippine Piso. Its almost identical to the size of a quarter...almost didn't notice it wasn't a quarter. I found it interesting that one side of the coin says 1999 and the other side says 1993
Its always interesting to me to find coinage from different countries here in Florida. There are so many people in this state from so many different places (And its been that way for a long time, starting with the Spaniards)! Anyhow, its treasure to me.
