found one that the date and writing on coin seems smaller than other halves(skinny) still new at this

If you want to take the time to look at them first - I got about $40.00 in 1995 halves back in Atlanta when the Federal Reserve bank still had a teller that sold to the public. She took them right out of bag. almost every one has some sort of die crack from JFK's chin. I have a nice progression of them showing no crack to just starting to all the way to the rim.
