Was wondering what type of error this is on Liberty? Also the p is sunken in. Was it just struck a bit to hard? IMG_20180213_093335.jpg IMG_20180213_093346.jpg IMG_20180213_124943~2.jpg

I agree that there is damage on the coin. However, I also see what appears to the Machine Doubling on the tops of "RTY" (see pic #2) in LIBERTY but can't be sure due to the quality of the pics. There also appears to be a ragged Die Crack or Die Gouge running from near the right top of the "I" in LIBERTY and extending towards the middle bar of the "B".

Hmm... looks like more pmd.. do die cracks usually go through the rim? Looks like a nick too me.

Looks like some wear, but there may be doubling in a few specific places.

Not talking about the post damage or the scratch:) the raised top of the letters. I got better pics now. Thank you to everyone who commented. Also in new pic the Y looks doubled to. The p looks covered with a square20180215_122437_1518719475725.jpgIMG_20180215_111405.jpgIMG_20180215_112625.jpg

Especially the Y. I uploaded better pics

I agree! Good eye enamel. I have seen this type of doubling before and while I am not very knowledgeable about it, I question if it could be considered doubling since metal from the letters are merely pushed upwards and then pulled up during ejection. Pic #2 of the first pics made it appear to be Machine Doubling.
