how many of these were printed and what is the value?

Welcome to Treasure Net !

Your "K" $20 bill was issued in Dallas. 6,656,000 were printed. A few years ago that bill brought $25 (retail) in VF-20; $35 in EF-40 and $100 in UNC. You may wish to check out 'completed transactions' (sales) on Ebay for more recent values.

Yeah, in average circulated condition, it's not worth anything over face value. The star just means it was a replacement bill for one that was too damaged to remain in circulation. The other small numbers around the bill are district numbers that have no particular importance.
