1976 Uncirculated proof set

My kid picked up one of these at the last gun show for a song ($10!!! Good job!), but it got me thinking...

The way I understand, all three coins are 40% silver. Were there ever any other quarters that were minted in 40%? I thought all the other S-proof silvers before and since were done in 90%.

Your son got a good deal. I bought one of those sets back in the 80's for about $15.
