Since the banks were closed the following day and I was in no rush to dump my rejects I decided to do more than my standard edge hunt on Wednesday. I was rewarded with a 1974-D DDO. I have found many different 1964-D DDO but this is the first 1974 that I have found. The boxes also yielded 2 Franks, 3 64's and 6 40%.

I will see if I can get a scan up. I left it with my Dad since his boxes only yielded 1 40%.

I can't see it. Guess I am getting old in my young age..... :laughing7:

If they are that hard to spot, I am not even going to try.
 

Someone explain what the DDo means maybe I am just missing it here is all

Double Die on the Obverse(Face) of the coin. Means that it could have been stamped twice and the coin moved slightly in between the first and second strike. The numbers appear larger and some have a second line where they didn't quite line up
properly. That was my comment, I couldn't see it, doesn't mean that it is not there, I just could not see it in the picture. Some DDO's need a microscope to verify the strikes.
