You know, I am so daft at this. Is it because the tail of the two dips a little (or is a bit disjointed looking)?

you lost me,, it is hard to see in pics but the two is doubled and can be seen on thee inner edge of the 2 closer to the seven in the date

There are many types of the 72 DD. from what I can tell it's not the good one. The one worth cash is doubled almost like the 55, but as bad. I own a type 2 72 and I think I paid like 100 or so for it. Yours might be worth a little more like the 55 poor man DD. Still a nice find though. With the 72 or 55 DD there is no need for a loop you can see it with your naked eye.

thanks ppratt , your right they are not the good ones but still a heck of a find to get 3 at the same time,,, and i am using a web cam to take pics an they are not the greatest so i try to use a loop to help , happy hunting,,,, i think mine are the type 4 or 7 dies but not sure as they do look the same to me

Hi nsdq, I got your PM but the link wasn't on there. It does sound like those are worth some money. I didn't look too hard but maybe a couple hundred (maybe more, maybe alot more?). Anywho, you must have a good set of eyeballs my friend.

I don't think there worth much maybe 10 each if there type 4 or 7 there are 9 types. the higher the number the cheaper you go.
