What are the characteristics of this item that may make it worth more than face value?

acidhar5... Welcome to Treasure Net and we hope you will tarry with us and share your' finds! I am sorry but your' 1969-P Lincoln Memorial Cent is only worth one Cent unless I am missing something! Although it is worth more for the Copper it contains, it is illegal to melt it down and cash in on the Copper.
