My grandmother had this in her change. It was blackened so I got a piece of aluminum made it into a little bowl added vinegar into that salt and some baking soda dropped the coin in and boiled it for a few minutes. The tarnish comes right off. Disclaimer I know cleaning coins devalues them but this particular coin is mostly just worth it's melt value so I was bored and shined it up for my grandmother as she just holds on to silver coins anyways. Went to give it back to her and she handed it to me and told me to keep it. So that was a nice little surprise.
