1965 tru 1969 half dollars

just wondering what these are worth, what i can sell them for. thanks

Check out Coinflation . com for current silver prices. Then, check out EBay to see how they are actually selling. EBay is loaded with one day auctions of silver coins.
Good luck.

The "we buy gold" place that just popped up around the corner from me offered me $2.50 each for 40%ers. "Based off of $30 spot," he said. I laughed heartily and showed him coinflation.com. He wasn't too happy with me.

Basically anything is worth what you can get for it. As stated above Coinflation and Ebay will both give you some ideal, coinflation is what the silver content is worth according to the spot prices that day, and Ebay is a good indication of what people are willing to pay when you are reaching that many bidders. Provident Metals is a good online buying site but they also have a minimum amount of 1,000 dollars worth of silver to get their prices but you can still get an ideal of what they would pay. The best way to find out what they are worth is to go around and ask people and shops, gold/silver buying places, pawn shops, and local coin stores. There are the adds in Craigslist you can check. The last couple of hundred I sold I got 4.50 and 4.25. It also matters how many you have to sell and what the spot price is that day. Just reading the older threads here should give you some hints because someone asks some form of your same question regularly. A ballpark ideal would be somewhere between 3.50 and 5.00. Hope that helps you some. You can always just keep looking, building up your pile, and wait for the silver spot price to increase. While it has been going down recently from a high of just below 50, the long term trend is upwards.
