1964 Silver Dime

I stopped by McDonald's the other night and the employee had to give me change back in dimes and in those dimes there was a 1964 silver dime. I'm always MD'ing for coins and it's funny that I got a silver dime at McDonalds. This means that there are a lot of old coins still in circulation.

You can still find some older stuff too. I found a buffalo nickle at a restaurant a couple years ago. I know there are some Mercury dimes still out there.

I think kids are getting them from Grandma's coin jar and don't know that they are worth something so they spend them.
