Hello Everyone!

I went to a local bank to change some coins and the coin machine kept rejecting this nickel. Upon closer inspection I see that it has some sort of raised or indented rim that curves outwards. I dont know anything about errors so I decided id post a few pictures and see if anyone could tell me what they think. I compared it too a regular nickel and it definitely has a more pronounced rim than the regular nickels.

It could be a tumbled coin from the dryer. The softer material of nickels can cause the rim to flatten and widen from being tossed around. Maybe someone else can give their advice if its real error or tumbled coin.

BTW, I swear the 64 nickel is ome of the most comman coin still in the ealry 60s date. I got two of them the other day in chance. I got 37 of them in Reno 2 years ago looking at ones that came out of the slots machine each nite after playing.

There were more than 1 billion of these minted, so there will still be quite a few in circulation.
