1960-D Rosie dime ~ 1940 Canadian 25c ~ 1942 G.B. 3 pence ~ Sterling 'what's it'
Hello!
I headed back downtown to pick up where I left off last Sunday after our club's monthly outing. It got way too hot to detect any more on Sunday ~ and today was a perfect day to get out detecting!
It was a day for finding foreign coins!! Though first I dug a 1960-D Rosie dime ~ but then I dug a 1940 silver Canadian quarter (my first silver Canadian 25c ever) ~ a 1945 Canadian cent ~ a 1942 3 Pence from Great Britain ~ and a small bar thingy marked STERLING that weighs 6.0 grams. Plus I dug plenty of clad, but no wheat cents.
I took pic's of the coins before and after I cleaned them up. These are my silver coin finds #110 & #111 for the year.
THANKS for looking!
Neil
