I purchased some coins online, and the seller included this coin. 1957 D nickel. It has a grading of MS - 70 through international numismatic bureau. Done my research, and know they are not a creditable company. But my question is, is there any value at all? ( I don't think so) and if no value, what's the point of even bothering having it graded to give it away for free? There are a lot of Self-Grader/Self-Slabbers out there and International Numismatic Bureau is likely one of these. The Grade on the label for the 2x2 of MS-70 would not be recognized by Collectors or Dealers. However, although it is hard to grade in a 2x2, it appears to be fairly high grade with some light toning and there are some Collectors that would pay anywhere from $2.00 upwards of $15.00 or more for the coin. If it has "Full Steps", then the price will likely more than double.

If you go to PCGS.com and check out their population report for the 1957-D nickels, the highest grade they've given one is an MS-67. And that population number is 1, meaning they've only graded one coin that high. Nothing higher. I'd check with a local coin dealer and see what they charge to send one to PCGS to be graded, if you don't have a membership. If it grades 3 points less than what's on the 2x2, you'd have one of the 2 highest graded 1957-D nickels.

Check out their price guide while you're on the site. They value the MS-67 1957-D @ $450, and the 1957-D Full Steps @ $1900.

Definitely worth considering in my book.

Its not a MS 70. BUT....if there are at least 5 full steps above Monticello and the fields on the obverse are semi clear, it would be worth submitting.

Looks like a rotated reverse also. I believe approx 40% off center strike would add value as well
