Hello all!

I met up with Richard for a fun afternoon of detecting downtown Eugene Oregon today ~ and the weather was beautiful!

I ended up digging a 1951-S Silver Roosevelt Dime (my silver coin #70 for the year) ~ 1945-S War nickel ~ 1948-D Jefferson nickel ~ dateless Buffalo nickel ~ a few wheats ~ and a few dollars in clad. Richard probably dug about $10 in clad today!

It was a fun day!

Thanks for looking!

Neil

Did you ever count up your clad from Sunday's hunt? I know you found a LOT!!!

Love the Buff and sorry the date is gone. Hard to find one with the date readable. Silver is always good.

Nice going, Neil, on your nickel Tri-Fecta!

You sure have been digging those low conductors lately. I see a gold ring in your future!

Congrats on hitting #70!!

Thanks Dan! Yeah, I've actually been trying to find gold ~ it's been quite a while! But I'm more of a coinshooter anyway ~ I'd rather dig a silver dime than a gold ring.

That's a great day in my book!

I've been hitting a park that has been in pretty heavy use since the mid 1940's - been there three times now, but can't seem to find the older coins. Getting lots of recent clad, and three wheaties from the mid 40's and one silver rosie from mid 50's. Going back on Friday to see if I can't find one of the mercs that I know are there.

Jim

You lucky dog, all I find is stuff for making bread..(wheat).....NGE
