These were all practically surface finds. I haven't began digging, so that is exciting as I know there is more under the surface.

Hey Diggler,

The Cobalt porcelain is a radio strain insulator.

"Ranging in size from 4 1/2" to 2 1/4", here is an array of some less common porcelain radio antenna strains. The strain second from left has a very small star incuse in a circle, and a small chip on one ring on the side opposite the star marking. This strain is $12. The grey/brown strain third from right is marked HECO and SENSORY. The strain at far right is black. All strains are VNM condition and $4. Please add $1 postage per strain." Porcelain radio strain bonanza SOLD

Bob-E-Pin, thanks. I believe it is an Obear-Nester Glass Co. On the bottom it has the N with a square around it.

Surf, thanks for the info! I have no idea about insulators but I am interested in learning. I can't wait to get back there as there is more surface finds along the bank there.

Very cool finds!

So far only one rusted top. Nothing more. I will let you know if I do. But deer camp is this weekend so I won't get back to the dump for two weeks. The deer camp is at a boy scout camp that is well over 70 years old so I am expecting to find some goods there!

That scouting is a thirsty business, so happy hunting.
