1950's $100's

A teller gave me a few 1950's $100 bills she had been setting aside. I'm selling any unusual currency I can find to raise money for the adoption of our first child. So far I've done pretty well on my 1st 5 auctions last month, but the auctions I have right now are below face value. would anyone care to help me out starting the bidding out at face?

Just click see other items, I have some star notes, and one $2 bill With SN 00033000 and some other auctions. most of them are below face value right now though. :(

Re: 1950's $100's

I mean this with all due respect, seriously. And feel free to brush me off, but I am honestly trying to help.

You need to include better pictures, especially with the lots of star notes you have and the district set of 1976 $2s.
Your descriptions are pretty good with describing condition but still the pictures of the entire notes will help with your final bids.

The 1950x series of notes usually don't sell well in circulated condition, I would be surprised if they sell for more than what it will cost you to sell them on Ebay. Even though they are rare to find in circulation, I pass them up because there is no profitable outlet to sell them in unfortunately. Same thing with the 1996 $100 star you have.

One a good note, you will see a good amount for that 00033000 $2 note you have listed. I'm guessing $45-50 at closing.

Re: 1950's $100's

Thanks for the advice, I probably could have done better listing the stars individually with better photos. for some reason ebay resizes my photo and makes them less clear. I'll try hosting the photos elsewhere for better results next time.

Re: 1950's $100's

Well, Lesson Learned. The only ones that were really worth putting up was the 00033000 Note Sold for $88 ($73 Profit) and the Box of 2009 Presidential Pennies Sold for $76 ($31 Profit). The Rest were not really worth my time.

Thanks for Looking.

Thanks for giving us an update, and congratulations on at least making a little money on the deal .. Good luck, Gpurs..

Re: 1950's $100's

I would've thought the 100's would have sold for a little more. Good job on the $2 note though, that was a good auction
