I have a " 1999 Blackbook price guide to U.S. paper money"
This book lists the 1950-B at $9.00 in VERY FINE...
The 1950-E $12.00 in VERY FINE..
Keep in mind this is an 8 year old book.

YES they are worth saving.

They really aren't worth much more than the face value. They have to be in almost uncirculated condition to command much of a premium. However, I would love to have them, and whenever I find older bills or star bills, I pluck them out of circulation. Very nice finds you have there!

Good eye you have there! Me, I'd hang on to them if for nothng else just the history of the two bills.

Congrats on the paper finds Norman. That is pretty rare these days. I've never found anything good except to 1957 $1 Silver certificates like the 1935 you found, except these were '57. The bills you picked up are not worth much over face value in the condition they are in, but I would've definately held on to them as a find.

I'd keep em.
