1950-S & 1954-D Silver Dimes ~ two silver rings ~ ten wheats ~ clad

Today is day three of my vacation. I went out detecting for about six hours today. Here's what I dug:

1950-S Silver dime
1954-D Silver dime
ten wheat cents ~ 19-S, 36-S, 41, 44, 44-S, 46-S, 46-S, 46-S, 51-D, 58-D
1940 Canadian cent
85 Memorial cents (not pictured)
1 nickel
19 clad dimes
14 clad quarters
two silver rings (both marked 925)

My XLT sure likes them deep Canadian cents. This one today was coming in with the VDI +89 & +90 @ about 5 inches deep ~ I thought I was going to be digging up a silver quarter . . . . but Nooooo, it's was a 1940 Canadian cent!

The two silver rings are probably the smallest & Largest silver rings I've ever dug (ring finger size anyway)! The small one won't even fit over my first knuckle on my pinky finger. Then the big one is a touch too big for my middle finger!

I'm on vacation through the 29th of this month! Hopefully I won't kill myself trying to go detecting too much! Oh well ~ atleast I'll die happy! LOL

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Nice finds, Neil.

I had a similar day as yours (2 silver, 12 wheats), but didn't get any rings, and didn't come close to your 85 memorials. :o

Still plenty time left in your vacation to get out a few more times.

Congrats,
