Made it out today around 4pm and decided to hunt the old high school that closed around 3 years ago. It was built in 1949. Wanted see if I could find any class rings. No gold just 3 quarters, 4 dimes, 6 nickles and 45 pennies. Which one is folded in half. No silvers and the pennies are soaking most of them are stinkin lincolns. I did find 2 square nails and old red clay bricks in the ground so I may have to research it some to see what was there before the school was built. The Colgate toothpaste was a cool find it is one the old lead tubes. Was surprised on how good of shape it was in. There are pencil erasers, bobby pins, tweasers and another one of those lava like hot rocks that I posted before. Could it be from a Black Smith's fire pit or coal furnace slag? Anybody have an idea? :icon_thumleft: Today you got nice quantity! Future digs there have a good chance of getting quality gold or silver coins or jewelry, due to age of the school along with even older age of the square nails! Let us know what you dig there next! Andi
