Hi all!

I met Ron downtown today for several hours of detecting! We had fun! Here's what I dug:

1942 Merc dime
1943-S War nickel
1945-S War nickel
N.D. Buffalo nickel
six wheats ~ 1944-S, 1955-D , 1952-D, 1946-S, 1949-S, & 1920
22 clad quarters
22 clad dimes
11 nickels
131 memorial cents
1 arcade token
---------------------------
197 pieces = $9.87

The Buffalo nickel, 45-S War nickel, and three wheats were all together about five inches deep! I love finding old pocket spills!

With a total like that I guess you did 6 hours?

Yeah, it was close to 7 hours of detecting with no breaks!! From a little before 10:am to almost 5m.

Yeah, I like digging up War Nickels! I found 17 of them in 2007. Now this year I've dug 6 ~ and we're less than three weeks into the new year!

your nuts a whole days labour and not even ten bucks to show for it. Ya gotta be crazy and to think a wish i could have been there with ya snowed 6 more inches today it might be may before it melts i gotta move soon. good job nice coins later kippero
