Only made it to one sale today. It was mostly new junk, but since it was the only one, I dug through a table of small stuff. Mostly new junk, but I found this. Lady said it was her grandfathers.

The condition was so good, I thought maybe is was a more modern fake, but then thought that no one is making these. Based on the link below, mine should be around the 1940s:

Unfortunately, it does not work. Do you think it's worth fixing? This is an 8-day clock that is around the size of a large pocket watch. Any idea how expensive it will be to fix?

Nice... Check ebay and you might get an idea of what it go for as-is. I've got an old travel clock made by LeCoultre that's was probably made around the same time your's was.

Thanks Tamrock. I popped the back off and the serial number is only a couple hundred different from the one linked above, so definitely 1944. Going to try to get if fixed.

So, I figured out how to wind the alarm and the alarm works, but I can't figure out how to wind the mechanism.

Does anyone have an ideal about how to wind the mechanism?

When the crown is depressed, I can turn it counter clockwise to wind the alarm, but the crown will not turn clockwise.

When I pull out the crown, I can set the watch by spinning the crown either way. I tried pulling the crown for a second click, but that didnt feel right either.

I found one exactly like yours. It sold at Liveauctioneers.com for $220 in 2013.
