1940 World Fair item found , what is it ?

Dug this up this morning , not sure what it is . It says on it G.G.I.E WORLDS FAIR S.F. CAL . I know that GGIE stands for Golden Gate International Exposition . It is a thin piece of tin . Any ideas would be a big help ! Thanks
