1940 jefferson nickel??

so im finishing up my box of nickels and i pull a 1940(p) and put it in the keep pile. i look to see if it has a mint mark or not and notice that it has all of its steps. now my question to all you numismatics is this worth anything more then a dollar or two??

My guess: If it has full steps and MS-60 or more, then it has promise.
