1939 New York World's Fair Medal

Hi everyone, went hunting in a local park today. Pulled out a couple 1965 dimes, some newer pennies, and then I got a 10 cent reading thinking it was another dime. To my surprise, it looked like a gold coin in the hole and when I pulled it out, it's a 1939 New York World's Fair Medal. Any help with this would be much appreciated. This is the best that I could do taking a picture of both the front and back.

Re: 1939 New World's Fair Metal

This is one of a number of commemorative medals and medalets issued at the World's Fair held in New York in 1939, which was the sesquicentennial (150th anniversary) of the inauguration of George Washington in 1789. The reverse depicts the Trylon and Perisphere, signature structures of the exposition.
