1935-D & 1942-S Merc dimes, 1953 Canadian dime, and 8 wheat cents!

Hello!

Today I met up with Richard downtown to do some metal detecting during my lunch break. Good thing we went earlier than later ~ the rain is pouring down out there now! Here's what I dug today:

1935-D Mercury Dime
1942-S Mercury Dime
1953 Silver Canadian Dime
8 wheat cents dating from 1939 to 1952
1 clad quarter
7 clad dimes
1 modern nickel
18 memorial cents

I found the two Mercury dime in the same hole ~ I love it when that happens! I took pic's of the silver coins before and after I clean them up. These are my silver coin finds #5, #6, and #7 for the year!

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Congrats on the Merc dimes and the silver Canadian

Yea, we would all like to hate this guy, but alas, he's one of the nicest guys you ever want to meet. He deserves his good fortune. Plus, those lunch hours are about 3 hours. Lucky guy!!! Hes the one on the left. This is our minelab crew.

This guy and his posse are definitely doing damage to the silver population of Oregon. If I lived in Oregon, I would either make friends with him and learn everything I could from him, or I would circle around the block in my car shouting demoralizing things at him.

He finds too much silver to NOT be reckoned with in some way.
Pleebah, He and all Eugene got reckoned with, in a left-handed sort of way. Did you see what OHIO STATE did to his DUCKS.....
plucked 'em, cooked 'em, and downed 'em. :laughing9: :laughing9: :laughing9: (it's okay if I say these things.....I'm from Oregon, too........now, by way of S. Korea.) Got to keep those guys with webbing between their toes honest.

LOL ~ THANKS WAYNE!!

Yeah, when I go detecting on my "lunch break" it's usually much longer than the usual lunch break. But actually yesterday it was only about a 90 minute lunch time hunt! I figured after three silvers that that was a successful hunt ~ and I decided I better get back to my office before my luck ran out! ;^)
