Canadian 1934 penny, with what a dot?

Found this 3 days ago, around 10 inches deep, in my granted access to a 1856 building. I do not know what to think of this Coin as the dot is part of the coin. Yet, the "dot" coin is a 1936. I would like thoughts an opinions, of anyone. there seem to be more then one mistake on this coin. Be worth a lot?

I really can't see a dot, though maybe a better picture is needed? Appears to be just a normal 1934.

I believe the dot is between the 9 and 3 look at VP NAVY pic. he enlarged a bit

Ah, thanks I see it now. That is not really like the dot on a 1936. I suspect it is just a spot of corrosion.

Could very well be a very well placed piece of crud, or somebody put it on there intending make it a dot, but they got the wrong year.

It’s a dot of corrosion. Wrong year for the valuable dot coin.

A nice coin Craig. Anytime I dig these, they have a ton of green so I never see this much detail (fertilizer in parks I think). You should post a pic of the other side for posterity, lol.

I have to agree with others about the corrosion. The dot is abnormally large, and oblong and doesn't seem to be raised. The 1936 by comparison is small.

The dot bellow the date is raised and part of the coin, not corrosion, I have thought some one placed it there but highly unlikelly

The other side of the coin is lacking any detail that my phone can photograph

Corrosion can also leave a raised lump, but could also be a small die chip I suppose. Either way it isn't anything too special.
