My girlfriend has a 1932 Quarter. It was her Grand fathers. I used a normal quarter to give you an idea as to the size of it. It is 1 9/16" in diameter and 1/8" thick. Anyone who may have any more information about this would be greatly appreciated. We are wondering why it is big. Thank you in advances. ProofBack1.webpProofFront1.webp

I once dug a standing lib that in like condition and con-caved, some one mentioned it might have been used as packing to a home made fire cracker/M80 --is yours holed? I am away from my collection right now, or I would post a photo of it---

Just an oversized replica, a novelty item. Proof coins are no larger than normal.
