I no nothing about paper money, but a teller gave this bill to me in a bank transaction yesterday. Does this bill have any value....worth keeping? It has been folded quite a bit over the years obviously. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i looked on ebay for the completed auctions and the cheapest i saw them going for was $30. most were $100+ though, i would hold on to it.

Thanks for the information guys. Like I said, I know nothing about paper money except how to spend it....ha!

Thanks again.

Redeemable for "gold or lawful money." Amazing. Really makes my head spin. Times sure have changed.

Yours is probably worth a nice little chunk CC. How do you store it?

I found the same thing - a nice crisp $100.00 bill from 1928 series just yesterday. Was looking up values in the web and they can't command a lot of money. Probably need to get it graded for starters.
