I went to the woods and along the trail I dug the mercury dime 1928 only 2 inches deep.
A few days ago I dug the ring and I thought it was a gold class ring untill I got home and cleaned it. The gold plating washed off and only says HIGH SCHOOL on it. It looks like it made out of pot metal.
A railroad button missing the shank.
A brass key ? and 1940-D wheat cent.

That key is pretty cool.My girlfriend found one like that, except broken in 2 pieces .

In the photo that key kind of looks like one used on handcuffs. Too bad on the ring, but that's the story of my life, find a ring, heart starts pounding, it ends up plated with a glass rock. But a ring is a ring, and silver is silver, and I'd be happy to find them.

The key is a railroad key, I found one earlier this year and looked it up it was used for switches and signals, mine had the name Romer & Co on it some have the railroad name on them.

Any day finding stuff besides pulltabs and cans is a good day.. Nice finds. HH
